Padre Is Now Terminal: What the Rename Means for You

If you opened trade.padre.gg and saw the name Terminal instead of Padre, you are in the right place. The product was renamed after it was acquired. Here is a short explanation of what that means in practice.

What happened

In October 2025, Pump.fun, the Solana token launchpad, acquired Padre's trading terminal. After the acquisition the product was rebranded as "Terminal". The trading site kept its address, trade.padre.gg, which is why many people (and many search results) still call it Padre or "Padre GG".

What stayed the same

AreaStatus
Trading addressStill trade.padre.gg
Supported chainsSolana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain
Main toolsTrending, Trenches, Track, Portfolio and the order panel
RewardsCashback and referral program still available under Rewards

What changed

  • Name and branding: the app now uses "Terminal" throughout.
  • Owner: the product is run by Pump.fun instead of an independent team.
  • The PADRE token: the token linked to the old brand is a separate topic from the trading terminal. If you held it, research its current status independently; this site does not cover it.

Do you need to do anything?

For most users, no. The address is the same and you sign in the same way. Two sensible precautions after any rebrand:

  1. Bookmark trade.padre.gg and use the bookmark, since scammers like to exploit name changes with lookalike sites.
  2. Ignore anyone offering to "migrate" your account or wallet. No legitimate rename requires your seed phrase.
WHY THIS SITE STILL SAYS "PADRE"

Most people still search for "Padre", so we use "Padre Terminal" to help them find accurate information. The official product name today is simply "Terminal". This site is an independent guide and is not run by Padre, Terminal or Pump.fun.
