What a referral code actually does
Every filled trade on Padre pays a platform fee (independent reviews put it at roughly 1% of the trade). Padre returns part of that fee to you as cashback, paid in SOL; the Cashback page describes it as "Earn SOL from trading on Solana". How much you get back depends on how your account was created:

You pay the same fee in both cases. The referral link only changes how much of it comes back to you. You do not need to hold any token and there is no minimum volume.

https://trade.padre.gg/rk/leleodirectly, or click any "Open Padre" button on this site. You will land on the Terminal sign-in page at trade.padre.gg. - Check the code is attached. Under the "Start Winning" heading the page shows "You're joining with code: leleo". If you see that line, the code is applied; you do not need to type it anywhere.
- Sign up with one of the options shown. At the time of writing the page offers Telegram, MetaMask, Phantom and Google. Use an account you control and keep secure, since it becomes your way into the terminal.
- Trade, then claim. Cashback does not land in your wallet by itself. It builds up under Rewards → Cashback as Unclaimed Rewards in SOL, and you collect it with the Claim button.
